"LAT"? "ALT"?...Dick-Chinned Shitosaurus?
Just picked up this crazy girder front end. It came with an even crazier BSA. A '68 A65 Lightning to be exact. I'm looking for a little chopper history lesson on the front end. Anybody know anything about these?

You Can't Take Enough Pictures
Thank God Rick knew that too. I got a package from him a while back and was absolutely floored. Not only did he send some real photographic gold, but he took the time to write down some of the stories behind the photos. These are some of my favorites. Rick, I really can't thank you enough. I'm glad to call you a friend and I look forward to seeing you next week.
Behind Bars
Steve Davis may not be the best lookin' guy around, but man can he weld! We did a couple sets of stainless bars for my buddy Rick from Knoxville. Some simple T's and some sweet skinny Z's with built in risers. They turned out great!

Uno
Its that time of year again. Time for Torquefest! A great show for an even better cause. A real Midwest must. Well, the kind folks at Biltwell have once again donated three brand new helmets for me to paint. All three will be auctioned off at the show with the proceeds going directly to Helping Hannah's Heart. I finished up the first one last week so here's numero uno... and a Cody Weber shot of me looking all wizard-like eating an ice cream sandwich, just for good measure.

Louvering...
...hoods has always been a three man operation. I don't have shit for jigs, and quite frankly I enjoy the company. Well, with my move to the new shop, it's now a three man OUTDOOR operation. I wasn't too jazzed about my press sittin' out in the weather, but there is something great about workin' outdoors. The rain held off Friday long enough for my Dad and my Uncle Rick to come out and help me mutilate this '48 Chevy hood.

Sheazilla's Lid

I painted this last summer for my friend Shea, upon returning home from our epic adventure. That endless stretch of US-50 was fresh in my mind. We rode the 168 miles of nothing from Ely to Delta at sunset. I recall feeling like I had left this planet. The sense of vulnerability was overwhelming. The sense of insignificance rang truer than ever... Anyway, it just occurred to me that I never posted it.
